Journey Overview:
Discover the ancient imposing cities, endless desert and luxurious palaces of one of India's most fascinating regions - Rajasthan. The tour begins in Delhi, the bustling capital of India. During private touring, take in the UNESCO-listed Humayun's Tomb and Qutb Minar, the Lodi Gardens; Stop to take a most enjoyable rickshaw ride through the colorful bazaars of Old Delhi, whose wares offer stiff competition to Delhi's more upscale & exclusive shopping districts. Make a short train journey to Ajmer; visit Pushkar - one of the most sacred Hindu towns in India, and home to only one of the two Brahma temples in the world. Evidence points to its having existed during the Fourth century B.C. A lake in the inhospitable surroundings of a desert is no less than a miracle. Stay at Samode, a medieval Palace of the Samode clan, and about a half hour away from Jaipur, Rajasthan's great Pink City. Drive to Jaipur : it has a rich architectural legacy, and is famous for its merchants and Maharajas - not to forget hill forts, palaces, the ancient but yet scientifically accurate observatory, gardens, temples and Havelis (courtyard mansions - surrounded by stark desert. Explore medieval backstreets and browse bazaars selling textiles, leatherwork, woodblock prints, perfume, jewelry and Jaipur's traditional blue pottery. After Jaipur, head on to Mandawa in the Shekhavati, the land of courageous warriors and Rajput noblemen. The journey winds through Bikaner and then onto Jaisalmer - Rajasthan's last bastion before the border to its neighbouring countries in the West. After seeing the desert and town in its rawest form, continue on to colorful Jodhpur, home to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Marvel at the luminous saris of indigenous tribal women and the bright turbans of Rajasthani men.; it is then time to head back to Delhi in time for your flight back home.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi, private transfer to the hotel
Day 02: Private sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi in an air conditioned vehicle. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 03: Train for Ajmer, Visit Pushkar. Overnight stay
Day 04: Drive to Samode Palace, afternoon village tour of Samode, camel cart ride and overnight stay
Day 05: Private tour of Jaipur : city sightseeing & excursions to Amber Fort. Overnight in Samode after an exclusive evening with dinner at Dera Amer.
Day 06: Private luxury shopping tour of Jaipur, walking tour of the old city and its markets. Overnight in Jaipur / Samode (optional)
Day 07: Private transfer to Mandawa, village walk through the havelis in the afternoon. Overnight at Mandawa.
Day 08: Drive to Bikaner, private sightseeing & evening at leisure. Overnight at Bikaner
Day 09: Drive to Jaisalmer through acres of desert landscape; Overnight at Jaisalmer
Day 10: Private sightseeing of Jaisalmer & excursions to Sam/ Khuri Sand dunes. Camel safari on the sand dunes. Overnight at Jaisalmer
Day 11: Half day drive to Jodhpur. Post lunch, take a village safari to a Bishnoi Village. An opium ceremony can be viewed with prior intimation to us. Overnight at Jodhpur
Day 12: After a private tour of Jodhpur's, majestic Mehrangarh fort, fly to Delhi
